Tokyo, October 12, 2015 - The Ryokan Collection has formed an official partnership with Kateigaho International Japan Edition (KIJE), Japan's most prominent culture/ lifestyle magazine in English, which is published twice a year by Sekai Bunka Publishing Inc. With gorgeous photography and fascinating text, KIJE provides insights into diverse facets of Japan's arts and culture, including lifestyle ideas, insider travel information and the latest cultural trends in Japan. The partnership will provide readers of KIJE with special features on omotenashi, the spirit of Japanese hospitality - a particular focus of member ryokan of The Ryokan Collection - under the theme "Luxury for the Senses," beginning with the 2015 Autumn/ Winter Edition. The partnership will help advance the shared mission of KIJE and The Ryokan Collection - to introduce to the world the sublime beauty of the omotenashi culture of Japanese ryokan. KIJE Vol. 36, published September 1, 2015, features three member ryokan of the consortium, Hiiragiya (Kyoto), Bettei Senjuan (Gunma) and Nakanobo Zuien (Hyogo), under the topic "Shitsurai - Hospitality with seasonal flair." KIJE will be an essential guide for knowledgeable customers of The Ryokan Collection, and will provide a new perspective on the beauty and unsurpassed luxury of the Ryokan Collection experience.
