The Ryokan Collection offers a special benefit for JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members living outside of Japan. Stays at The Ryokan Collection properties will earn one mile per 100 yen and miles may be exchanged for stays as well.

We invite members to take advantage of this benefit and make the most of their visit with Japan’s finest airline and ryokan experience.

Partner Information

• For JMB members residing overseas.
• Only reservations made through The Ryokan Collection website are eligible, both for accruing and redeeming miles. Reservations made directly with the properties are not eligible.
• To redeem miles, first make and confirm a reservation for the desired property. Then, redeem miles for a voucher of the equivalent balance through the official JMB site. Finally, send the voucher to jal@ryokancollection.com.
• Miles can only be redeemed for the pre-confirmed rate with meals. Any incidental charges, such as beverages or spa, should be paid directly at the ryokan upon check-out.
• Reservations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to check in to be eligible.

Airport Meet & Greet Service

Members with a reservation at The Ryokan Collection property during their stay in Japan are eligible for a meet and greet service if traveling in business class or above and arriving on JAL European or North American routes. A designated JAL staff member will meet them as they exit the plane and escort them through immigration and customs and then to their onward transportation. To reserve this service, please fill out the reservation form when making your ryokan reservation or email to jal@ryokancollection.com.

• This service is only available for guests staying at The Ryokan Collection inn for at least one night during their time in Japan and traveling business class or better on a JAL flight from North America or Europe.
• Transfer service is not included but can be added for a fee. Please inquire with The Ryokan Collection when booking.
• The service is subject to availability of JAL staff.
