The Tokyo Station Hotel has a rich history spanning over a hundred years. The iconic grandeur of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building is proudly designated as an “Important Cultural Property of Japan.” The hotel preserves its deep-rooted heritage while providing guests with contemporary accommodations and unparalleled hospitality. Over the past century, it has been home to famous writers and prominent figures from around the world.
Since the hotel opened inside the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building in 1915, its imposing architecture and state-of-the-art facilities for the time have attracted visitors from far and wide. Following a complete closure for extensive remodeling that lasted nearly six and a half years, the hotel reopened in 2012 with 150 guestrooms and suites, skillfully balancing the refined elegance of classic European décor with modern comfort and technology. Dining at the hotel is a culinary journey, offering a range of exquisite options to cater to diverse tastes across 10 restaurants and bars. The fitness and spa facilities, along with the state-of-the-art meeting rooms, also charmingly retain the vestiges of the station building’s rich heritage and significance.
Sustainability is one of our core concerns. We are proud to offer a carbon-offset program for all guests, automatically at the hotel’s expense. This initiative provides guests with the opportunity to contribute to combating climate change by using carbon offset mechanisms to neutralize the emissions produced during their stays.
The Tokyo Station Hotel is a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
