One of 4 rooms in the main building that feature Shinsen’s signature gardens, with graded gravel, boulders and multi-seasonal foliage. Interesting works of art by local artists join the elegant antique Japanese ceramics and paintings that grace these rooms. Ruri is a Western-style room, 60 sq. meters and suitable for two guests, featuring comfortable easy chairs and big twin beds. This room features a big bath made of green-glazed ceramic, set into a spacious deck. (Mrs. Sato, the proprietress, says many guests feel like a goldfish while bathing in it.)
