Of course, this being a premium Japanese ryokan, the bathing is excellent at Ryokan Kurashiki. In addition to the spacious bathtub in each room, there is a pubic bath for guests to soak in, a big, beautiful, granite number with a view of the garden. Guests have unlimited use of the bath (women and men bathe at different times), and may reserve the bath for private bathing.
