Maki no Oto is an enthusiastic contributor to the surrounding old neighborhood. The entrance is small and nondescript, and the facade fits seamlessly into the traditional streetscape of central Kanazawa’s Higashi Chaya district.
Inside, the lobby is elegant, modern and inviting. Its shop offers locally made glassware and other fine crafts, as well as Maki no Oto’s exquisite chocolates and ice cream.
