THE RYOKAN COLLECTION

Maki no Oto Kanazawa’s rooms are simple and comfortable, with clean lines accented by beautiful paintings and fine pottery. Both boast enormous windows and balconies looking out onto the ryokan’s garden, with pretty greenery above and below. The balconies each have their own garden as well, along with tables and chairs. The in-room amenities are premium, the high-end Lixil toilets stand to attention when you approach, and coffee and tea makers are ready to serve you in the kitchenettes.
This is a Western-style room, its single space divided into living and sleeping areas, with a comfortable couch and chair and a TV/entertainment center.
The bed, which faces the garden view, is Queen-size, and can be swapped out for twins if you prefer. The bathtub is nice and spacious, and looks out onto the balcony greenery and the ryokan’s garden. The room is 48 sq. meters in area, plenty for two to three guests to stay in comfort.
